Final Projects

Your Final Project for this course can take two forms:

1. Contribute a chapter to the book we are writing together (title: SURVIVING WITH CLASS: HIGH SCHOOL DURING THE 2020 CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC)

  • Your writing is simply your personal observation about what it's like to go through this.
  • You can learn more about the project and get ideas for things to write about by visiting THIS POST
  • I don't care about length, or mistakes, or whatever -- I care about your thoughts and feelings and how you express yourself, and I'll help -- so just send your first draft in an email or share via Google Doc to me at dpreston.learning@gmail.com
2. Document your Big Question exploration
  • Check in by email to remind me of your Big Question and summarize what you've done
  • Select (with my help) the best storytelling platform from the following options (you may also choose more than one):
    • Paper/blog post
    • Slide show
    • Musical composition
    • Animation
    • Video
    • Code/computer program
    • [Something wildly original and creative that I didn't include on this list]
  • Teach the rest of us about your Big Question in a zoom call
