JOURNAL TOPIC:
Some of the "words of wisdom" I remember from
when I was a kid aren't really wisdom, they just stuck because they're
funny, or weird, or just catchy. A couple examples: You can tune a
piano, but you can't tuna fish. You can pick your friends, and you can
pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.) Describe
something -- an idea, a saying, a habit, an event -- from when you were a
kid that you still remember to this day. Why do you think this stuck
in your memory?
